Set for a hopeful release in 2026, I’m very proud to share our film The Attack of the Astroharvesters.

For me, this one comes straight from the heart. It’s built on childhood memories of mine on theme park rides the idea was to make a film that felt like it's not just a movie, but a little ride of its own.

It’s also our love letter to the golden age of sci-fi cinema, crafted by the team at Rusalka Pictures with the same spirit and playfulness that brought our earlier films to life.

I wrote and directed this one, and it revolves around our galactic hero, Buck Ryder — played by Chris Skelton — a sturdy, straight-shooting alien hunter called in when a mysterious spacecraft crashes on Earth. In another story it might turn bleak, but here the tone leans toward playful suspense, cheeky humour, and those bright, pulpy thrills you’d expect from the great B-movies of the past, only set firmly in the modern world.

Buck isn’t alone on this adventure. He’s joined by "Chas" played by Chris Spear and Jamie Ray playing..."Jamie" who stumble into far more than they ever expected.

The setup echoes the classic sci-fi blueprint, but we took great joy in twisting it just enough to make something fresh. There’s a lively energy running through the picture: part nostalgic throwback, part modern indie, with a warm, beating heart in the centre.

With the same creative team behind Ravenstein, and that same scrappy, determined indie spirit, Astroharvesters celebrates everything we love about old-school sci-fi while giving it a fresh coat of paint for today’s audiences.

If you enjoy big thrills, oddball characters, and a hearty splash of glowing, nostalgic weirdness — then welcome aboard.
